"WOMADelaide must be moved from Botanic Park to parklands near Greenhill road. It’s disgraceful that it’s where it is. The noise upsets the zoo animals and the bats.
It’s not only the performances but the banging going on during set up and removal.
The Adelaide Zoo runs on a knife edge re finances and WOMADelaide cuts out lots of parks etc making it hard for people to visit the zoo.
There is no reason why it can’t be moved. Maybe a branch crashing down is a sign they shouldn’t ignore!
I hope the organisers show some common sense and empathy."
