Sepia apama

The Giant Australian Cuttlefish aggregation is an annual spectacle in the Upper Spencer Gulf, usually running from May through to August, with peak activity in June and July.

Like all cuttlefish, Sepia apama possess blue blood, three hearts & eight arms & have the ability to instantly change skin color, pattern and texture to camouflage perfectly with their surroundings or to communicate during mating.
