  1. I know this person who is very famous as Salvador Dalí, both of them belong to "Surrealism" artists. One of his artworks is very representive, which is "THE SON OF MAN". They are both good at creating dislocation and a sense of dreaminess on a flat surface. Weirdness, silence, terror, contradiction, and detachment make people think about the dimensions of time and space outside reality, thereby exploring their own inner world. Their works are a perfect blend of artistic painting and philosophy.

    2. Yes, exactly! Surrealist art emerged after World War I, when the world was in turmoil and people were increasingly looking for a place to escape reality. And it is also closely related to Freud's psychology, helping people explore dreams and the subconscious. I like surrealist art because I like Freud's psychology which allure me to explore the inner world, dream and subconscious. On the other hand, surrealist artworks break the traditional form of artistic expression and even break the conventions and reality. Surrealist artworks are very innovative and visually impactful.

  2. By the way, one of Rene's artworks is "THE FALSE MIRROR (Le Faux Miroir)", which is my favourite.
